    Thanks for the feedback. This is as designed. Non-boss nodes are designed to be farmable at relatively low level. Boss nodes and elemental turmoil encounters are designed for end-game farming.

    But what about middle-game? You reach the point where the non-boss nodes at tier 5 are a piece of cake, long before you're done farming emblems.  You can't get emblems from boss fights, and the elemental tiers are not a reliable way to get emblems either.  The only reliable way to get a specific emblem is to grind that fight.  I'm working on trying to get 5 Umbral Voidcallers so that I can make one with a level 5 ability.  To do that, I'll have to get 200 of their emblems, which will require doing the fight about 1,000-1,500 times.  That's a lot of boring repetition against something that is pitifully weak, along with getting crappy gold rewards.

    I don't think giving players the option of fighting something at a higher tier so that they have more things they can fight would be a bad thing.

    It wouldn't stop people who are unable to beat higher tiers from farming it, since you can repeat battles on things you haven't 3-starred yet.  By the time they can 3-star a tier, they can probably at least 1-star the next tier and repeat it.
