So, Raid currently costs 4 food for the first 3 fights, and then goes up by 4 food per fight. That's pretty insane. Your 4th fight costs 8, 5th costs 12; your 10th fight costs 32 food. The basic raidable fights are already the least rewarding fights in the game; you could at least let players throw their food away on them at a proper rate.
I suggest the following adjustment:
First 3 fights cost 4 food each.
Next 3 fights cost 6 food each.
All subsequent fights cost 8 food each. 8 food is already costing nearly as much as the 10 food for fighting 'Windstorm!' or an equivalent elemental fight, which gives much better rewards. I don't think it's necessary to raise the raid cost to any higher than 8 food.
I also think that once you 3-star the 5th tier of a fight, you should be able to raid it without the cost going up; there's no reason to make players waste time manually fighting something that is so far below their power level that it is merely wasting their time.
Sometimes people need to go to sleep, and they just want to spend all their food first. Raiding doesn't give very good rewards, anyway; surely this could not be abused.
