Bound Runes/Tactics Issue & Solution
There's an issue with bound runes. A player might bind a rune or tactic to one unit, and then consume that unit with another unit to fuse its ability levels, or to change the leadership ability of a hero. In doing so, the bound runes are unable to be unbound in order to bind them to the new recipient. Without being able to equip them, I don't think you can even unbind them to ever be able to use them again.
I presume that the current system of binding runes and tactics is intended to prevent a player from unbinding these powerful items and binding them to another for the purpose of potent followup attacks against bosses. I have a solution that will still prevent such abuse, while also allowing a player to transfer these to a new unit when they absorbed the old one for ability evolution or leadership change:
Tactics and runes that have been unbound due to the consumption of a hero or troop in evolution will gain a 1-time ability to be equipped to another unit of the same type (for example, from an Uldrin to only another Uldrin). Upon being equipped, they will instantly be bound to the new unit and must be unbound for the original cost in order to move again. Upon the implementation of said update, any players' bounds or tactics that are currently bound to nonexisting units will receive said update.
Would such a thing be implemented?
